Job Requirements :
•1 -5 years experience in Web hosting/Server administration
•L2 / L3 Engineer
•Good Linux knowledge is a must.
•RHCE is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Candidate has to provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for the clients in worldwide, and will be dealing with our international clients and major web hosting providers managing their servers. The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
•Provide live chat support.
•Monitor severs and networks and escalates to the corresponding department.
•Provide basic customer support through ticketing system.
•Carry out tasks under the supervision of mentor.
•Identification of various server issues and act according to the guidelines.
•Documentation of issues.
Preferred Skills :
•Outstanding Troubleshooting Skills
•Excellent Knowledge in Web Hosting Control Panels like Cpanel, Plesk, Direct Admin
•Strong working knowledge in Mail Servers ( QMail, Exim, Postfix)
•Well versed in Webservers
•Excellent knowledge of Security systems (Firewall, IPsec)
•Knowledge in PHP, Perl and Bash Scripting is an added advantage
•Proficient in Linux
•Should be available for 3 shifts to provide 24X 7 customer support.
•Good Knowledge on Web server, Mail server, DNS, FTP, SSH ( Thorough knowledge on Apache and DNS will fetch you the job)
•Excellent Communication Skill in English (Written)
•Good understanding about usage and purpose of Firewalls.
•Good Team player - Able to work independently and well on a team.
•The ability to respond effectively under pressure
