Able to read a book in a week timespan then you are the guy we expect.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure the DB performance.

Maintaining high availability of the servers.

Fine tuning the DB servers

Handling the regular DBA tasks.

Handling the rotation shift and proper handoff.

Client communication over chat media and phone calls. 

Building Automation on top of the existing system.

Involving yourself in training on new DB technologies.

Contribution to open source community via Blogs, talks, and codes.

Keen interest in Knowledge transfer and helping other team members for success.
